• Supports up to 8,000Hz polling: designed for compatible 8KHz keyboards. Actual polling rate depends on the keyboard, firmware, USB port and host system. The cable does not increase a keyboard's native polling rate.

Compatibility & Before You Buy

Suitable for most mechanical keyboards with a detachable USB-C cable connection, connected to a computer's USB-A port. Check the keyboard's recessed port clearance before ordering. The supplied connector diagram shows a USB-C housing approximately 25.3 × 11 × 7.2 mm.

Not a USB-C to USB-C cable. Not suitable for keyboards requiring Micro-USB, Mini-USB or a proprietary connector. USB-C-only computers require a suitable adapter, not included; adapters and hubs can affect compatibility and high-polling-rate performance. This is a keyboard connection cable, not a high-power PD charging cable.

• Host-side straight lead: approximately 1.5 m.
• Coiled section: approximately 15 cm long and 22 mm in outer diameter.
• Short straight sections beside the coil: approximately 10 cm each.
• Cable outer diameter: approximately 4.6 mm.

Measurements refer to the individual sections shown in the supplied diagram, not a 1.5 m total end-to-end length. Small manufacturing variations may occur. Do not stretch the coil to measure it.

Setup & Care

1. Disconnect the cable from the computer before joining or separating the aviator connector.
2. Align the matching connector halves carefully and secure the locking collar by hand. Do not force the pins or overtighten.
3. Connect USB-C to the keyboard and USB-A to the computer. For an 8KHz keyboard, enable its supported polling-rate setting and use a compatible direct USB connection.
4. If included, position the guide bar to support the coil without pulling on the cable or keyboard port.

Use only the matching cable halves supplied together; similar-looking aviator connectors can have different wiring. Keep connectors dry, clean with a soft cloth and avoid sharply bending, stretching or pulling the coil.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this make my keyboard run at 8KHz?

No. It supports compatible keyboards operating at up to 8KHz, but cannot add 8KHz capability to a keyboard that does not support it.

Is the weighted bar included?

Only with the “With Weighted Bar” configuration. The “Without Weighted Bar” configuration includes the cable only.

What ports does it connect?

USB-A on the computer side and USB-C on the keyboard side, with a detachable metal aviator connection between the two cable sections.

Can I use it with any mechanical keyboard?

Check for a detachable USB-C connection and sufficient clearance around the port. Proprietary connections and unusually recessed ports may not fit.

Does the bar improve polling rate?

No. The bar is a physical cable organizer and support; it does not change electronic performance.

Can I mix it with another aviator cable?

Do not mix connector halves from different cables unless their wiring has been verified compatible. Use the matching halves supplied with this cable.

How long is the cable?

The host-side straight lead is approximately 1.5 m. The coil and short end sections are listed separately above.
